Beautiful Bella

First let me start off by saying someone is really missing out on a cute stage for this spunky little one.  She is so funny doing cute little puppy things - chasing her tail, barking at her reflection, pouncing on blades of grass outside that have the nerve move...

But when all the playing is over she just loves to snuggle up close to anyone willing, for a nice nap.  Even though she is 11 weeks old now she is teeny-tiny and fits perfectly in the crook of my neck - her favorite spot to seek out when I am holding her.

Since we're going on vacation in a few weeks we've reduced her price to $850.  Yes, the family who gets her will be practically stealing her at that price.  But don't worry - we're just happy that she will be able to make someone's life just a little (or mayber a lot) brighter.

A Hello and a Goodbye

So a lot has happened since I last posted.  Little Molly now goes by Kiarra and with her new name comes a new family to love her.  A really nice couple in Washington took over the important job of giving her a ton of snuggles when the adopted her.

It was hard to say goodbye but the moment was made somewhat easier by the fact that my mom's dog Isabella had a new litter of puppies on March 27th.  She had seven (that's right, SEVEN!) puppies in her litter!  That puts my last litter of just two to shame. We have a beautifully marked blenheim boy (who we are calling Jasper) and a sweet little tri girl (Bella) available for adoption.  Jasper is $1000 and Bella is $1200.

Handsome little Jasper

Sweet Bella

Now that they are five weeks old they are starting to play but they do so in slow motion.  It is so stinkin' cute - sometimes I wish I had a webcam to broadcast them live.  They could brighten anyones day just by doing the things the cutest puppies on earth do.

Miss Molly

The oh-so-cute Miss Molly

Molly truly is a delightful puppy.  And delightful I mean sweet, loving, adorable, charming and above all snuggly!

Yes... you caught me... I may be getting a little attached.

With each litter I always tell myself not to get emotionally involved (beyond what you would expect when you breed the cutest puppies in the world), but there is always one little pup that makes it extremely hard.

In this litter that puppy goes by the name of Molly.

I mean, c'mon just look at that face.  How can you not fall in love with something so cute?  The other day I told her I would miss her when she went to a new home.  Her ears perked up and she cocked her head to the side in her cute little puppy dog way, and I just had to laugh.

Then she squatted down and had an "accident" on my hardwood floor (obviously to show me how much she loved being in my home) and the moment was ruined.  But still, it was cute... I swear...

Molly and Polly

Her sister Polly has now left and I hope one day soon to find a family to take Molly that will love her as much as I do.  But until then I'll be basking in the unconditional love that only a dog can give, setting them apart from every other creature on earth.

The best things in life come in two's

Molly and Polly

My dog Anne has had her final litter of puppies.  She has had two litters of two puppies both of which were delivered by c-section.  So after these two puppies go to their forever homes I'm going to get her spayed.  It's really too bad because she makes a-DOR-able puppies.

Proud momma dog - Anne Boleyn

Anne is on the smaller side for a Cavalier at 12 lbs.  She is well marked, has champion bloodlines and the sweet Cavi disposition that we all love.

Dad - AKC Champion Tuff

The sire, Tuff is very highly recognized champion and was even ranked the top Cavalier in the nation a couple of years in a row.  He is on the smaller side as well - weighing in at 14 lbs.

Molly

Molly is available for purchase.  I am asking $1200 for her.  The lucky family who gets this little cutie will be amazed by how adventurous and cuddly she is!  I'll post more on her later.

32 Pups and Counting

Ok so apparently I stink at trying to create a website.  Thus, the Cavalier Puppy Dog Blog!  Much easier and more personal than a boring ol' website. Here are some fun facts about us:
  • We are a mother and daughter team who breeds the best dogs in the world - Cavalier King Charles Spaniels!
  • We have been breeding these cuddly little creatures for 5 years now.
  • Our first Cavalier - Isabella - came into our lives in 2003. (How did we ever live before her?)
  • We now have 5 Cavaliers that we breed.
  • All of our girls are named after royalty of some sort- Isabella, Guinevere, Anne Boleyn, Anastasia, & Briar Rose.
  • We have had 8 litters of puppies with a ninth currently on the way! (That's a lot of births)
  • That makes 32 puppies and counting that have graced our lives. (Luckily not all at once)
All of our dogs have a place inside our homes (not to mention our hearts.)  We love breeding and all the joys that come with sharing these special little dogs with other families.  Cavaliers can make anyone feel like they are the center of the universe and it is our calling in life to spread this joy to as many families as possible!
